  My first experience in your salon was wonderful and very relaxing. Everyone was nice and very professional. Bianca was awesome. I love my cut and hair color. She was also very knowledgeable about natural hair and educated me on the correct way to wash my locs. I will definitely be back. I told several of my friends about my experience and a couple of them said they will make an appointment.

  What a wonderful experience! I recently discovered that I have breast cancer and decided to go in for a little pampering before surgery. Michelle gave me a cut that I love and I also got my eyebrows arched and my upper lip waxed (sorry I do not remember that technician's name) but she really hooked me up also. The environment was so relaxing and all the staff so helpful. Thanks...I will be back!

  I must say, I truly love your salon and the services offered especially to women trying to go natural or maintain their natural hair. Until I came into this salon in Cleveland, I was helpless. You guys helped me go natural and now i am so proud with my own natural hair. I am knowledgeable about how to take care of it in your Love trains. I just love you all and it is a blessing to have such blessed people in one place ready to extend a hand.

  I had an appointment with Dominique today. I was very impressed with the teamwork, professionalism and the overall atmosphere. The service was outstanding and timely. I love my cut, and my hair has never felt so soft. It's refreshing to be in a salon that doesn't feel like an impromptu fashion show, with rap music blasting and women gosspping. Job well done ladies.

  Hi my name is Nina and last Tuesday was my first time coming to your salon. I had been dreading going to a salon because of the long hours that a hair appointment can take. I must say that I am very impressed with your staff. They were very pleasant, professional, and efficient and I was pleased with my hair. My appointment started on time and I made it out of the salon in two hours! I went natural about 4 years ago and have been very picky about my hair. My stylist at So Curly, So Kinky, So Straight did an awesome job!

  From the smile that greats you at the door, to the pleasant voice offering you lemonaid on a warm day, this salon is an example of what Black Salons aspire to be. I see Tiara and know my hard to manage natural hair will look beautiful and even survive some hard workouts. I am never there long and everyone I have recommended has become a satisfied customer and client. The salon is filled with talented stylists so I never worry about my stylist going on vacation. Domonique has done some beautiful things with my hair and I always see beautiful heads leaving the shop with locks, twists, curls, weaves and silk presses. This is the kind of salon that makes you want to try new things because you trust the stylists. Thank you for breaking the Black Salon mold.

  After much searching for a salon to meet my needs, I found the CKS website. I booked an appointment and was not disappointed. From the receptionist to each team member that I encountered the experiences were positive, friendly, and professional. My stylist Tierra Banks consulted and worked with me to assure that I left the salon satisfied with my hair. She did a fabulous job and I wasn't there all day! Kudos to Monica for your business passion and expertise,and to your entire team for doing such a great job. Keep doing what you do! God Bless!

  I called in to the salon to schedule an appointment to have my seven year old daughters hair done. The receptionist made the appointment and asked me whether or not I would like e-mail or text confirmation of the appointment. I then asked her about an appointment for myself, we chose Tuesday ironically - and she offered information about $22 Tuesday. She suggested a hairstylist for me and I asked her why she chose that person. She replied that Dominique specialized in short hair (something she got out of me in determining my needs).
  
  Everyone that I encountered was pleasant. The music was relaxing and Dominique was awesome. I did not sit in the shop for half a day - something that I have definitely encountered before. Dominique was very friendly and because if what she told me about the status of my hair, I know that she really is a professional.
  
  I also really love the fact that the salon promotes a team environment. Its very nice to know that as my hair grows and my needs change, that I can switch stylists without grief.

  The Natural Hair Love Train might have very well saved me and my child's life.
  
  In the last installment, the natural hair care stylists of So Curly, So Kinky, So Straight advised to not only read the ingredients on "natural hair" care products but also to look the ingredient name to get a better understanding of what it is.
  
  I happily skipped to a "natural" store to get some "natural" hair products. I sat down and started with the first ingredient. Comfrey. There was a warning. Do not consume internally and do not put on in an ointment or cream externally to children, the elderly, or anyone who has a liver condition, alcoholism, or cancer!!!! I got the product for me and my young daughter!!! Comfrey is used as a fertilizer!!! I went through all of my other "natural" hair care products and threw away three more products I had around for awhile with comfrey listed as the first ingredient. I bagged the products purchased today and plan to return immediately to the store for my refund.

  I started coming to the salon because my stylist Tierra Banks became employed here. I love the atmosphere of the salon. I am an older "Christian" woman & in so many salons you walk in & the music & language are so offensive. I do not know what the majority of the ladies in the shops religious preference is, but I can say that EVERY time I have walked in the shop, it has been a display of nothing but professionalism. From the receptionist all the way back to Tierra's chair, everyone is pleasant & respectful. I love it here!! Ladies just keep up the wonderful work!

  There are so many wonderful things to say about KCS I don't know where to begin. It is a totally different Black beauty experience than has ever existed in the Cleveland area. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene. The staff is friendly and professional. The consultation I got from Tiara was the most thorough I've ever received. There is no double, triple, quad booking of clients, you have your stylist to yourself during your appointment. The online booking is great. There is no smell of burning hair or chemicals. My 12 year old daughter said she loves Tiara and KCS and NEVER wants to go back to her former stylist/salon. Her hair looked better than it ever had in her life, with no chemicals! In short, my daughter and I love So Kinky, So Curly, So Straight. Never change! God Bless you and may he bless your business with success and prosperity.

  This is a great salon. My hair is natural and when the stylists service me, they are more than willing to style my hair the way it is and not try to push any chemical services on me. Everyone is nice and friendly and I love the option of booking an appointment online! Everytime I visit it is a nice relaxed atmosphere and I recommend this salon to all my friends, relaxed and natural! Keep up the good work Ladies!!!

  I love KCS! I have been going to Dominique for almost a year now and have come to love the KCS family. Although Dom is my main stylist I would(and have) feel safe in any chair in the building and u cant say that about many salons. It's a mature atmosphere,they have merchandise for u to look at in the sitting area,and not just hair products,clothes,jewelry,candles...the list goes on.Not only would I recommend Dominique, I would recommend the salon itself to any and everyone looking for a positive salon experience!From the reception desk to the chair!

  I agree with Karen B - Michelle is awesome! She cut my hair for the first time a few weeks ago (after not having having it cut for 10 months!) and spent alot of time helping me figure out what I wanted. Everyone in the salon is very welcoming, and I love my newly-styled bouncy natural curls :)

  My first visit to the salon was almost two weeks ago. The receptionist scheduled me with Jacinda. She did an excellent job styling my hair (4a/4b). Since then, I've continued with my normal routine of walking/running on a treadmill four miles, fives days per week, and my hair is still silky straight!!! In addition to her skill with natural hair, she is also a great conversationalist. That was my first visit, but it won't be my last. Thanks, Jacinda!!!!

  I came across the Kinky Curly Straight website while researching natural hair salons before coming to visit family and decided to check it out. I was extremely pleased with the friendliness of each stylist and employee at the salon and even moreso with the service. My stylist Dani went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased with my style and that is the type of customer service you just don't find anymore. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

  I decided to go natural about 2 years ago, however I struggled with finding a natural stylist. While browsing the internet, I discovered KinkyCurlyStraight Salon and decided to give it a try. I must say it was a pleasant experience, the level of professionalism was impressive and the decor is relaxing and inviting. Bianca exceeded my expectations, the sister has skills!   I had a walk-in appointment today for myself & 4 yr old my daughter & we were seen immediatly. We both had the stylist's individual attention the entire time & were out in two hours. This was my daughters 1st time @ a salon and I was surprised because she usually cry & scream & I didn't hear a peep out of her!! Our hair came out great with minimal product. Everyone was very pleasant & for the first time I experienced a salon without being overwhelmed by chemical & burnt curling irons. I really enjoyed my experience & will be back!!
